Library and Media Center

The La Joya Library Commons is an inclusive and safe space for all students and staff. All are welcome to use this space to study, read, browse, check out books, work on computers, and quietly socialize with friends before school, during lunch, or after school, space permitting. The library’s fiction collection is organized by genre, which creates a patron-friendly way to find the perfect book for you. Mrs. Igwe is also always available to give recommendations. At the La Joya Library Commons, our focus is on diversity in literature and the belief that representation matters. Our goal is to help each student develop (or continue) a love for literacy and learning. We support the curriculum standards and goals of LJCHS, and we are always here for the students and staff.

Library Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m.–2:50 p.m. *Hours and library access are subject to change.
